    I offer flexible engagement options including hourly, project-based, and monthly retainers. For larger projects or longer-term engagements, I'm open to discussing fixed-amount quotes or adjusted rates. My goal is to find a structure that works best for your specific needs and project scope.
    What is your minimum engagement period or project size?
    For hourly work, I ask for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per project. Retainer-based engagements also typically involve at least 10 hours of work monthly. I'm a small and adaptable consulting business, so I'm open to discussing your specific needs and finding a solution that works for both of us.
    Can you provide an estimate of your fees and how you charge for services?
    My standard rate is $150 per hour, and I offer some flexibility for longer-term or larger projects. In some cases, I'm open to including a commission or success fee to help lower upfront costs and share in the upside. Let's discuss your project - I'm committed to finding a fee structure that aligns with both of our needs.
    How do you measure the success or ROI of your consulting services?
    I aim to provide value that far exceeds my compensation. For specific tasks like partner selection or sales development, ROI is often clearly measurable. For projects like competitor analysis, market research or process improvement, we'll define tangible deliverables and expected results upfront. I'm eager to hear what you are looking to achieve and how we can measure the desired success or impact of my work together.
    What geographic regions do you have the most experience with?
    I've worked with companies doing business across Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. As a Spanish speaker with a global network of connections, I bring cultural awareness and honesty about my capabilities in different regions. If I don't think I can help in a particular region (or industry), I'll say so.

    Yes, I've built a diverse network over 20+ years in international business, including time living in South Africa and Chile. This network spans friends, business partners, consulting organizations, customers, channel partners, distributors and business school colleagues across the globe. I also leverage my clients' knowledge and put in the time to find the right connections or information.

    I stay informed through lots of reading, networking, and frequent travel. While it's impossible to be an expert on everything, I'm capable of recognizing gaps and finding the right resources or other experts to fill them. My approach combines continuous learning with practical experience and a broad network.

    What is your process for initial consultation and proposal development?
    I start by having a video call to learn about your business, international aspirations, current state, and perceived opportunities. There's no one-size-fits-all approach – it’s important to assess if we're a good fit and if so, I will develop a proposal aligned with your needs and my capabilities.
